Won't start

Hi any ideas would be fab... My Dtr 125 just died on me on mh way home from work, I managed to get it started after 20 mins of kicking it and it ran fine till I turned it off again. Did this 2 x and got fed up and decided to investigate. I appear to have a spark when the gin is off but when I switch it on.... Nothing. The power valve does it's cycle and after a couple of kicks it makes a noise as if it does 1 more movement in it's cycle. Any ideas, many thanks

Spark plug or battery maybe? I know mine had problems at first due to those,

Have managed to get a spark now, however I have nothing to compare it too, so I'm starting to wonder if the spark is weak, the source coil is reading 841 ohms resistance, this I think is far too high, but the spark doesn't look that bad... However, I don't know what a healthy spark looks like.
