whats the best headlight bulb you can have on dt125r 2003 the standered 1 is useless been noked off coz of it

i cant comment as iv put a replacement twin in my bike but i think the dt standard headlight is a h4 if so u can get hids if you really wish

Most single headlights are crap so don't think it's just you. You can get knocked off yer bike any time of day and it's been that way for years. What we all need is eyes up our arses and a f**king crystal ball so we can predict what some car drivers are gonna do. I live in a town with loads of roundabouts where half the people don't use indicators - you can imagine what fun that is!
Ok rant over - take the bulb to a car/bike shop and see if they can match it too something brighter i.e. more watts. Don't expect a miracle though.

I got a H4 Halfords Extreme Brilliance bulb. part number 472EB.

They're £20 each but i have a spare one (unopened) you can have for £12 + p&p?

 

Oh must say it's a massive improvement over the old one too, on the pitch black twisties at night you can see clearly on normal beam but my high beam is still too damn high lol. Actually been beeped/flashed because they think i have my high beam on :)

these are awesoe almost like a hid bulb they are so bright they say not road legal however i have used themfor atleast 5 years in all my bikes and cars with no probs with coppers or mot time they really light the road up its a high intensity blueish white light
