HAVE A LOOK AT THIS SEE IF ANY ONE CAN HELP...wiring loom n stuff

right been at it again 2nite, trying to sort the loom, im thinking its got sumets diffrent another year ect, been flikking fru wiring diagrams and not sussed it

got most of it plummed in its just the cdi im gettin stressed with

so here ,after most plugged up then thers 2 plugs left spare gray and black i think and then 1 set thats been cut off

was loking at the 03 ign switch and the wires are different, i have 4 wires black,red,black/white & brown what years that then?????

then another question has any one got a decdent loom that will work with the stator and cdi thats pictured together

ad rather get a decent one if possible and have a good solid loom insted of connected every where

these are the 2 plugs spare and the cut off ones

this is which cdi & stator i plan on using, has any one got a loom to suit

 

you had some good time on the loom nev...what do u rekon??

all info will be great

give me an engine any day.bleedin hate the lekkys stuf furious

Thats a 97-2000 cdi unit a 88-97 stator and looks like a 97 loom to me, but the ignition setup you explain is a 2000 to 2004

as the earlyer ones had 6 wire, a black and black/white which earthed the cdi, all that will wire together nicely

ahh its a right concotion then init mate....

theres no stand switch on it either so thel be sum wires 4 that i no like i frekkkkin hate this gameanother reason y i like clymer manuals colour loom pics ha ha

ah thats a 5 wire power valve loom there so it is 2000 - 2001

The side stand and neutral switch ect are done via a realy that has four wires summin like black brown blue and green i think

the black connector on the right and the cut off one are for the cdi if i remember the one on left is for servo the other one on the right is where the charging coil plugs into from stator

They will work but it will be tricky as ive just done that with my 2001 loom with same cdi, best bet is get a 3rm-20 cdi or a 97 loom

i have the servo plugged in one alredy and then theresw a red n white single from the loom to servo there plugged in

the white one on left is plugged in to servo then theres the black and gray ones spare

in your first pic there is a 3rm-20 or 30 in back ground to the right?

have you located the stator plugs? as there probs diffrent from the stator you got there, i have 2 of the stators to go with that loom althought you should be able to wire that older stator you have there in

YEAH I HAVE A 3RM 30 cdi aswell the one that fasens on the front of the oil tank yeah ? biggest oneis that the best one to use on this loom then ?

Yea m8 should blug straight in and can use a 5 wire servo which is ment to put less strain on the piston, with them older cdi you can only run a 3 wire and your have to do lots of moding

i have one of these but its damaged wires have been pulled of the coil by some heavy handed bugga ha

But them older cdi units dont have all the restrictions as the 3rm-30 has but there hardly noticable to be honest, but i would stick with the 3rm-30 m8 if was me, i have just got hold of a 3rm-20 so am going back to that

right so i want this loom i have

3rm-30 cdi

that ignition switch u showd me andwas that stator right i linked to on ebay?? the one with the magnito with the extra weight on the front??

 nahh its shagged all the coil that has tape round it has been dug about in, i think some one put sumet fru the gap in the mag to try jam it to undoo it and they mashed it all up with what ever they used !

It should go up the back end of the harness buy the lights ect 4 pin bleck has a blue black and brown and one other

what you wanting for one of your stators then to go with the loom mate, be gentle lol

or os there owt engine wise you need for a px or trade lol

dont need the mag as iv got one

the mag? you mean the pulser coil?

Erm well i have a bottum end i am rebuilding is missing clutch cover clutch and odv top end

haha  no the magnito....

flywheels are the crank halfs for recipricating mass  the full assembly is the crank

magnito is magnetic assembly to generate the power

 

yeah we can do that mate if u want geeza

so what do u want.?

whats odv top end?

I have the clutch cover and complete clutch i think, not sure what plates like will check think they will be fine
