That's the thing though. My gf wouldn't let me sell up as she's happy with l plates even though she's just passed her theory for driving. But maybe id be happyer just having a car an keeping dt with l plates. Dunno what I should do. Car or bike theory first.

u might aswell both do ur driving test first then get the bike one done, imo for ****ty weather n stuff n plus having a car make life a bit easier, say u had to go n get parts for ur bike coz it broke down jus jump in the motor n its all good, make food shopping easier aswell lol, i love my dt alot but i dont have that much faith in relibility itll go worng wen i really need it most, a car is prob more reliable , depends on wat car u got aswell lol get a toyota starlet that will never let u down! me and my wife have one each n there awesome little cars cheap to run insure ectect and there quite nippy 1.3 16v and they feel so much nicer to drive than 106's saxo's corsa's (old corsa's) lol u get real nice feedback through the controls not sloppy n scetchy like the ones iv jus mentioned (soz for any won who owns theses ones iv jus slated! lol but its true)

got my theory booked for the 27th again damned thing with a little luck i pass it this time,, but as far as a full licence goes im keeping both my dtr's an im still gunna collect up as many as i can.
wana full set one in every colour lol
the dt was my fav bike since i was a youth watching the bigger ones wheelie em in the park think itll stay one of my all time favrouts too has been since the 80s

whatever upgrade i do go for with a full licence itll definetly be looking at a 2 stroke anywayz

gave up on cars completly now i never had an interest in em just let them rot away an fall apart with no moddin or nothin just had no interest

even had a nice 1.5 hyundai scoupe turbo that i loved but still had no interest ,same model won pikes peak rally hill climb in 96 i think  was a rapid little thing but still never had the same love i had for my bikes

Got my car license and my mum wants me to do my bike so it won't be long till I do that anyway. I've got to pass my helicopter license first then I'll get straight on to it with the bike.

I'm booking my theory in may/early june i needed another year cause i never bothered riding in the city/town all through last year.. just country roads & they're so easy. I hope, just hope i pass my test by september.
It's ok for city/town people you have to ride out in big traffic & loads of lanes. All i got is the A roads & naninal speed limit signs.. Once o pass when i do I'm either getting a DRZ400 (as i've been riding with nath alot & i ****ing love it) but a enduro version with nice chunky nobblys! Or buy my mums cbr600 street fighter off her as she's keeping it incase i wanna have it for next year. fingers crossed! & good luck to you guys for doing your tests : )

Well for me I have been on the big road bikes for ????????years  and in that time have been lucky enough to have ridden all sorts of stuff and it was not until I needed some thing light enough to go on the back af the Bugilow that I got on a small light trail bike and Oh how much fun it was and I am enjoying the little bikes every bit as much as I do the big touring bike, it's just a matter of horses for courses, but then I am just a two wheeled junkie , put my bum on any thing with two wheels and I come back with a silly grin on my face ,well it's not the exact words she uses, but I think that is about what she means
