yeah surly it would work out cheaper to stick a polisport on,  with new cowl an light for about 40 notes it'd look nice on your SM too

Will a old 03 and older headlight unit fit in the Dtx headlight cowl don't fancy buyin one from yam at 150 quid

No dtr headlight units are bigger then dtx headlight unit just buy a arfter market One

Yeah just I like the standard one aswell been told wr450/250 headlight cowl and light will fit the Dtx brackets wether this is true or not ???

i know the shapes the same cant see why they wouldnt fit i looked at the wr ones for myself but i have different yokes to you m8 so gave up . your cowl has a screw in the bottom at the center to dont it older dtrs cowl doesnt .
do like the re cowl tho your right

Wr ones seem the same however the headlight is smaller I got one in me shed for another project and look identical to the dtre one
