Ok well looks as though i need a new clutch holder too and a new lever to match.

Is the right mirror also 8mm threads?

Could have sworn i was looking for mirrors and DTR was 10MM, Anyone shed some light on that?

like this for example javascript:mctmp(0);
Says DTR and says 10mm. Best find out the real info so i don't waste 30-40 pound on some wrong fitting mirrors.

No you're right, just been out and checked it, it is a 10mm thread left hand thread. I remember now I used a speedfight mirror on the right which is an 8mm thread, and used the 10mm converter off my xt600.

Silly question but where does the left mirror screw in to?

My bike was stripped of all essentials and right mirror holder is near brake lever but there is no left one. What was it originally screwed in to?

I need both mirrors as i plan on getting some with indicators as got no indicators on the front also.

The left mirror mount is on the clutch lever clamp for the handlebar, arrowed in pic, 8mm left hand threads too IIRC.

Ok thanks. Just i don't want a lot sticking out of bike so mirrors seem the best way to get around the indicator issue.
Will have to look at ordering a new clutch holder to fit clutch lever to, since the one on my bike doesn't have the threads or hole to put a mirror.

Just ensure someone hasn't unscrewed the bit that attaches to the bars,
I used to remove the mirrors and do that to mine so a puddle of water wouldn't stay in the threads and cause any rust

No idea, done it on all my bikes that have mirrors like that, i'm sure one of them was rusting so I packed it with grease, flipped it upside down and forgot about it lol
