Just wondering if anyone knows if the front end of a yzf 750 would fit the dt, got it all wheels and calliper just wondering how difficult it will be and how quick I coil get it back on the road, if at all lol?

Pm bradders if ya want him to do it mate. We both had ours done from the same firm. Takes no more then a day for the conversion really, it's just dismantling and putting back together.
Did you use the same forks tho or can it be any forks like I can do it my self if it's just a case of swapping out the old front end for the new ones but I'm wondering If it will fit in the Steering head with different bearings or whether the head has to be majorly modded(I'm a mechanic and have access to all the tools needed :) I work mostly on cars so have never done a front conversion I bassicly just want forks which will just slide in and do the job properly lol
The dtr stem comes out of the dt yokes and goes into the Yzf yokes, it won't be a straight fit, the firm we used made a collar in the yzf450 yokes and the dt stem is compressed in, you use the same bearings (dtr) so no need to buy new
Ah ok get you now so send the top end to the company fair enough what was the cost involved ? I could possibly get it done at one of the metal work shops in the city I'm in but if it was a good price it would be easy enough to send away, not got them yet but my mates bike was wiped out and only really the front survived and he said he might sell for around £150 which I thinks pretty decent he was fine tho lol
Ask brad, he did mine. This firm is good though, he's got a couple of hot rods he's built and a street fighter he's done, he's made his own custom yokes on it that are awesome, you can't see any of the electrics on it as the buttons are on the handle bars and all cables run through the handle bars and frame. He also makes my bones that I sell on here.
Ah cool mate I'll see what happens with my maters bike anyhow jus bought an exhaust which I'm sending to Bradders so I'll find out the cost involved for the yoke mod for the company too cheers for the onfo
