just get a disc mate and do it every time ur at the computer, its just common road sence really, i turned up a day late fro my 1st time ha ha like a spaz had to book it again
ull crack it tho just be calm and take ur time not to long tho ha ha
i was lazy and didnt read much, I failed it 3 times, the last time i had all the questions right though xD, i thought the guy was joking when i asked him how it went and he told me " You got it all right " .
i notice the hazards clips looks very set-up because of the clips had the same people and vehicles in, i asked the bloke at the end and he told me they were set up
also the pratice discs are nothing like the real thing, i was using the DSA disc, and half the questions had never came up before, eg maximum width of a motorcycle trailer
Cheers lads, yeah bought one of those dsa cd's to learn off, would you say its best just to keep doing the mock tests and seeing where i go wrong to improve my knowledge on it or learn the basics of each topic but do less mock tests??
Ive heard the easiest way is just to keep doing those mocks and memorizing the answers for the questions which you keep getting wrong?? whats your advice, knowing that ive only got till Wednesday and working as well??
Also with hazard perception, am i right in saying after that post from nathanlee that i should only click on the true hazards and not the potentials, I.e dont click for a kid walking on the pavement even though he may decide to run out in front of the road??
Cheers, appreciate your advice, not too bothered if i fail anyway, got the money, just wouldn't mind passing 1st time :D
yeah keep up those mock fella thats all i did went over it an over it cos it changes questions about so ya learn a few you dint there is a hazzard perception mock one aswell thats pretty close to the test version. but all i did there was treat it as your on your bike an click mouse when you would press the brakes as if you were riding .. yeah hes right dont overcoax it say if theres someone walking down a pavement dont frett but if there walking down a pavment an theres a zebra crossing there then click it as you would tap the brakes just incase someone went to cross riding your bike .. good luck with it fella

I passed first time, though I was having real trouble with the hazard perception on the practice software.
Having been a car driver for 11 years, I noticed things I'd consider a potential hazard, clicked, then failed. If you're not a smart arse car driver though, you'll do fine I'm sure. Ended up sussing it as only clicking on actual hazards as they happen, and passed no problem.
Just got to do my blood practical tests now. Annoying. Also got to buy another L plte for the DT as I may have accidentally ended up on the motorway the other day (genuine accident, as the A road just became the M3). I thought, bugger, so ripped the L's off and carried on. I've spent all my adult life on bloody motorways anyway, so it's not like its new to me, and the DT is happy enough in the lorry lane.
Passed first time & i thought i'd fail! If it makes you feel any better i farted in the room where i took my test in & it was eggy.. evil looks everywhere, I felt wrong

Im sure one day someone will use the search function to check out info regarding the theory test and thought this will be pretty useful as its quite hard to remember:
"How to remember Stopping Distances
TIP: Here is a great way to remember the overall stopping distances. Starting from 20mph you simply multiply the speed by intervals of 0.5, beginning with 2, for example, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5 etc as follows:
20mph x 2 = 40 feet
30 mph x 2.5 = 75 feet
40 mph x 3 = 120 feet
50 mph x 3.5 = 175 feet
60 mph x 4 = 240 feet
70 mph x 4.5 = 315 feet"
It may be one or two feet out so go for the one closest to it, so much easier than having to learn each stopping distance for each different speed
practised my ass off learning those m8 kept getting the distances jumbled up .. anyway spent ages learning em an guess what , the damn question never came up on my theory
how you doin anyway matey 50 outta 50s yet on the mocks yet
booked theory sunday as well so im suprised i passed, defoo, anyone reading this in the future if you wanna pass first time get the dsa cd or download it directly from them for a tenner and your pass, every question found on the real thing were in the mocks and there so easy to remember using that ;)

Thanks mate, im back but failed miserably, got 13 out of 50 for the theory and as for the hazard perception dont even go there ;/
Its so fricking hard its unbelievable, why do they have those really hard questions which im sure no one can ever get right, for example
"What is the meaning of this sign??
"
;) lol, i joke, passed after roughly ten minutes of doing the test :P 48 out of 50 for multiple choice and 51 out of 75 for hazards, so not bad i must say... and to top it off i nearly, just nearly killed a chav, riding down my road and as i came around the sharpish corner there he was not aware he was stepping back into the middle of the road whilst admiring a banger racing car, Damn, i joke obviously, but how stupid can ya get when you can clearly hear a DT coming down the road ;)
Oh yeah, and mod1s booked for the 19th this month, can see myself having my full license by early september :D
