Aye you can, disc and sprocket taken off, tip for masking the spokes is to get a box of straws slit each one up the one side, there only 36 to do, you spraying the hub too?

 Yes, but would expect a half decent tyre and the rear disc on it, for that price!!

yes im going supermoto allready have a cr500 front end with sm rim should i buy it dont care about the price

yes it will fit i have a 2002 dtr and swap my sm wheels on and off all the time the standard spacers fit so u just use the spindle and spacers from your 18 inch wheel

yes rough the rim up with some wet n dry, use some good primer and clear coat, painted loadsa rims, quicker to just get the whole thing powder coated

i have known people to sand blast spoked wheels and powdercoat clear, looks good when you polish the rims after the blasting

maybe powdercoat it all black

or mask up the spokes and hubs

how wide is that front rim compared to the dtx rear? looks bigger or the same width,,scetchy handling yo! lol

hmm not 100% on this but i dont think thts a good idea m8y might handle like a pig, but like i said im not 100% (iv read an arguement about this sorta thing on another forum ages ago but i cant rememeber the out come sorta thing) maybe nev or norfe can shed a bit more light on this, if i wer you id hold fire till u know for sure ; )

yeah mate cheers for the heads up that would of been a disaster but it will be a disaster if i cant put my front rim with my usd forks :L

Bradders, if you think about it he can lower the yokes down the forks to increase handling. I know that on the SM the front wheel is smaller. He could emulate that feel by sliding the forks further up the yoke.

when you buy tires doesn't the front tire have different profiles than the back one?

yeah they do but id say you'll be wanting a 120 width front and a 150 rear with that front wheel mate
