do you hate mirrors.

Ewww god no!
I've taken mirrors off EVERY single bike I've owned, even my current road bike lol

I keep one in my pocket though.. Just to make sure I still look fresh when I take my lid off wink

Oh and I must ask.. What the bloody hell is that metal pole sticking out of your previous mirror hole? Looks downright dangerous to me!
P.S. I'm 99% certain the hole where the left indicator was can be unscrewed and flipped upside down so the hole is facing downwards and doesn't fill with water or other crap lol

i neaver have mirrors on prefer not haveing them but last few ride outs iv been on iv gone to change lane looked behind me go to move and then one of my ideot mates over takes me with a foot gap lol.

and that metal this is a skrew converter i was checking they fit and fiting these mirrors last night its for when i do my mod2 i can put some granny mirrors on for the test lol there not on there now was just testing it

LOVE MIRRORS! Lol, must be the only one on here who does. I'm such an idiot without mirrors right, I will go flatout on my bike down a rode then when I'm in sixth I look behind me to check for gavours (Police). BIT LATE NOW AINT IT! At least when I have mirrors I check before I tear. Plus they're helpful when on the motorway or dual carrige. Otherwise I'll rip my head off checking to see if I can pull out lol.

It's a nightmare doing a lifesaver at 70MPH+ without mirrors, I'll admit that much lol

I hate mirrors like hell! both of mine have fell of from the wind! & it ****ing hurts your chest at 80mph when it slings off lol! I need handle bar mirrors really

Mirrors are for batty's, just another thing to break when you come off. makes you a better rider without them as it forces you to shoulder check more anyway!

agreed on both that is why these are small and under the bars harder to brake and there only there to see proppa behind me to see if any of my mates are trying to over take

It fell off! Mines never fallen off. Mirrors are for pros! Lol you wouldn't take the mirrors off your gixsa so why does the dt make any difference. I found that with them off i spent more time looking behind me then in front. Dangerous.

I wouldn't take em off the gixxer as they would leave some horrible holes :p they came.straight off the dizzer tho! Vile things they are

no matter how uncool they look there there for a reason, id prefer to ride my bike than be pushed around in a wheel chair

a quick look behind isnt really adequate

also whats to say some one dunt jump on the brakes the second u look round behind u and then ur straight in to back of em splat

or go to over take and then another biker makes the same try at 100+ mph straight up ur arse

the less time u have to look away from the way ur going the better

id rather have mirrors than think i look cool with out them fitted ha and be ded

and if u think it will never happen to me your thinkin wrong just mite do 2morow

Deffo norf i have been ridin without mirrors on my dts for years and it really isnt nice fealing pulling out to over take, my latest dt has these little mirrors they look pretty cool or am i just getting old :(

I agree mirrors are so not cool but if they are more or an aid for me than a hindrance so I will always have mirrors

At the end of the day I feel safer WITHOUT them as it forces me to look behind me, when I have them I tend to not do my lifesaver and put myself at risk..

i hate ones on my bar's i find myself looking deep into them as the car behind is close id rather not know how close he is and consitrate on the road and this is why i like these ones i can only see anuf that it is slighty help full better then nothing but still makes me check my sholder as when i have mirrors i stop checking and just looking into them and thtat is worse then not haveing them

Wouldnt even say it's an issue of how it look's its just un needed distraction's, there not even close to being accurate due to there convextion making it seem there further back, where as a shoulder check solidify's the distance for you! only positive with mirrors is having a cheeky look at the owd female's without them seeing a massive head turn at them!

haha i pulled outa college cluched it up and see a fit lady and fell off the back (lol really i just pushed the back brake to late lol) and ended up rolling down the road i jumped up grabed my bike and pushed it over to the kerb shes all nice and saying should she call a ambulance i said no she stayed with me for like 15 min's wile i waited for my mates to pull up then gave me her number and told me to text her to let her know if im ok haha my mates couldn't beleave there eyes haha next day at college i sore her in the cafe so bought her a cupper and ended up chating for ages i was late back to class the lot hahaa XD

mirrors are a must have dude they are real life savers .

you ever been in a group ride or alone plodding along at 60? and a 11000 wants to show of by dusting you and comes real close up beside you ? with out a mirror you will not see him come and may decide to move left or right just at the wrong second ?

also I once had a mate also on a dt come up my inside just as I decided to turn left I wiped him out his bike rolled and he was out cold in the street . lucky he was ok and after a little head shake 10 mins later he got back on his bike and we carried on ..lol

supose the point is we all think we ride ace and are totaly safe riders . its the other guys cars or bikes that do things you would not expect and maybe that last look in your at your rear in the mirror could not only save you but the idiot behind ..

yeah not prity items and some times in the way but they can be life savers .

+1 defo, trying to get a similar/exact pair of the ones which patman had on his bike but no luck yet
