well road test went well

pulled her out the garage, no choke 1st kick

good start lol

bike gear on then a stedy tootle round our estate blow off the cobwebs, did 3 mile with the odd blip to get the rust off the discs lol

then gave her a quick check over in layby , no leaks or owt loose all good

braaaaaaaaaaaaaaap back wheel a little bit, down bypass just under 80mph then ran out of road

got a 55 t on rear and 16 on front, it seem to run out of steam but felt like there was more if u get me

sounds well no nocks,rattles

crisp and responsive

clutch cable was binding so came home and put a new cable on

adj'sd chain 2 times !

gear box nice and presice no jumping

no engine vibration at all

checked plug and its spot on

looked up the exh port when fitting the dep and i could still see the croshatching on the cylinder walls so its not long since been rebuilt im thinkin

had to cut  and weld another gear lever on the oem one as no way i could get me foot in

so all in all lads it was a complete cheap genuine Steel of a bike

well happy smile

no will every one get buying my spares up so i can get some pennies saved up for some goodies ha ha

chain adjustment.. mines on 9 almost 10.. 12's maximum i think.. new chain,, stretchin like a bitch ,, think imma need a link or 2 taken out by summer, anyways, nice bike m8, u got a good deal there, if theres nothing wrong with it like leaks/ etc

1st bike iv ever bought that is 100% as good as it was said to be !!! to many del boys out there ,not much biker to biker loyalty nowdays just people after a quick quid !

so im well happy

ill just do little bits each week now, blasting and painting to get it all loookin fresh

Nice one Norfey mate, glad your happy with the new bike! Just fitted the new tail tidy and had a clean up today, loving it. I even got a compliment off this milf saying she likes my bike! It's "cool" and that she loves it haha wink

yeah i was giving it plenty stick aswell try and show up any faults but came up with non

next plans

pick new fatbars up 2moro

gonna take bits off for blasting, extend foot pegs make en bigger

remove rear foot pegs there getting in me way

change fork oil again heavier weight!

up the shock preload

add tail tidy & hpires rear fender

complete nut & bolt swap for stainless capheads (got all ****e oem panheads in still)

rim tape

new clutch cable on order

yz front end when i find one !

and then just ride and enjoy in the mean time

 

my nayber is selling his bike if any one intrested wanting a grand for it

Firstly what is Hpires rear fender? And where can I get one from in the future. Also what tailtidy are you getting?

Yeah, I've seen that tailtidy before and when I do the supermoto conversion on my bike that's the tail tidy im going to use. Is your bike SM?

If not does that TT look good on normal wheels?

 

Also that rear fender, it looks the same as the normal pre 04 models just without the light. Doesn't seem to go well with my RE any other ideas?

I got that back fender in blue from a place in portugal! it takes like 1-2 weeks to get to you but it's a bloody nice back end! if you get me ;) lol

Don't fit the RE models though does it :( The 04 Models aint to bad to be fair. Just mine got written off when it got nicked.

 its a completly different shape are u blind ha ha this is the pre o4

its same width allway down weres the other one is more mx style thin and graduated point will look loads better

i had 2 spare gear levers so i chopped one an inch b4 the right angle end then chopped the other one at the splined end and welded em together its about 7 inch now just r8 for me size 13 boots ha

im going to make my foot pegs bigger aswell give more of a platform to grip to it feels like im stood on pencils stuck in the frame ha ha
