any tips for restoring sundamge or faded plastics .?

any one know any diy or of the shelf ways to get them good again

I have some purple plastics that have sun damage fogging and would like them to look good again with out haveing to spray ?

looked on youtube  seen the scrapeing with a flat stanly knife blade leaves them dull and you have to use heat to restore shine ?

Aye I've heard of using a hairdrier or a heat gun to bring the panels back to something like, another reason they get the 'crease' marks is that they are pretty flimsy, and can flex whilst tanking it on the road, when I bought my new panels, I stiffened them by lining the inside of them with the aluminium heatproof sheeting you can buy on ebay, as they are an aluminium film put on to a thin fibre glass backing, stiffened them up no end.

Now try and put some Sonus tyre and bumper gel on them, they'll come up like new mate.
