Crappy Vee Rubber coming to the end of its life

My crappy Vee Rubber back tyre is coming up soon to be changed. The tyre was already on there when I bought it. I`ve had around 1,557 miles out of it but its running out fairly quickly now. So I`ve been thinking shall I get a set of Maxxis or AC 10`s on there, Ive heard mixed comments where people Don`t like the AC10`s on the front & I`ve heard some say they don`t mind the front. But are happy with the back Being a nobbly I know they don`t last as long as certain other tyres that are available. And bad points with nobblies they grip the road too well. Say if you need to swerve quickly if a nobba opens his door on you as your riding along & they are pants in the wet. But they do look sicko on though lol.  What kind of milage do you guys get out of your nobblies?

Or shall I stick to having a trail tyre on? as I don`t wanna go with road tyres they just ain`t my thing. As I do go in areas where theres mud etc.

lol Sorry mate didn`t mean to offend TBF I just don`t really rate the vee rubber that I`ve had on the back never had one on the front when I got the bike a few months ago the front was couple of hundred miles off the bare min so I slapped on a New Condition Dunlop K560 Trail that I got for £30. Its been alright Can`t complain for that kind of sausage really.

Yeah nobblies last about 1-2 months depending on how I rode. But to be fair once it was bold it lasted for about 6 months lol! I never did much off roading. My mate works at a garage and I buy brand new continentals off him for £10 so I wasn't bothered about how long they lasted. My only problem was is that I spent more on inner tubes taking the tyres on and off than I did on tyres!

If your changing from one tyre to another alot it seems a good idea to get next set of wheels and leave what ever tyres you swap regular on the spare wheels. If you can get brand new continetals for £10er you should consider selling em on here I`m sure you would clock up a bit of custom too. Enit Toy lol
