Try norman and birch for mot aswell nath, ive got seiki's headlight on my dt and it needed slight adjustment on the angle but they're sound so they let me off baby gurl! 'tis up hanley next to the big tesco carpark :)

Well the DRZ is still pretty much stock so i might aswell start a thread;

When i got it, it looked a bit like...

So far in the way of Money mod's i've got;

- MRD/SSW Full exhaust system

 

And General Tinkering i've;

- Changed the Ignition barrel from the handlebars to the side of the headlight ( gives it a cleaner look imo )
- Removed it so you have to clutch in for it to spark on the eleccy start ( Annoying )
- Removed the hideous chain guard at risk of losing my leg if the chain snaps ( worth it )
- Removed a few decals ( soon to be replaced by new panels / headlight etc anyway )
- Cut down the Stock licence plate holder so it doesnt look like a piece a solid poo hanging down from the plate ( soon to be replaced by a nice EDGE tail light anyway )
- Removed Pair & Solanoid emmisions crap ( Solanoid limits the power in the 1st 3 gears aswell so that had to go )







That's it so far i'll get some pic's up ASAP


Any Suggestions on what i should do etc etc and i'll see if i like it and add it!

Might have a problem with those lights Nath, as they aren't adjustable mate, unless you can set them as in the legal requirement, shown in the pic, and the MOT'er got his end away the night before.

Nath just check out fragmaster karl for your inspiration, sorted bruv. I wouldn't get that headlight, it looks a bit naff imo!! Get a hydraulic clutch, magura/asv levers. My dizzer will be the sister bike of yours very soon nath when i grab one! Only thing different is i'll get an rs2 pipe 'cuz i like the thumpy sound it gives more than the mrd :P xx

Hmm, think is with Karls bike its got too much mixture and stickers and red and black, i want mine subtle! black and white, the headlight shouldnt be too bad Acerbis make some quality gear bro! i think i'll have to give them the honour of doing my MOT then! Yeah one of the lads on the DRZ meetup had a RS2 pipe, bit more throaty not as loud as my MRD tho ;)! i'm sure you'll hear it at the weekend if your game darling?

roll your bars forward pal, y want the strut in the middle of the clamps, it will be loads easier to turn, daft but u try it and notice the difference!

Aye norfey ive got proper long arms dude so thats more comfy might try fine adjusting it at some point tho! Cheers zak mate! Went a bit ocd on the cleaning mudflap, subframe, under mudguard the whole works!

Took you're advice you Northen ****! you where definitly right even tho ive spent the past 45 mins stuggling to get my handguard back on!

ha ha yeah told u pal, u always want ya elbos high up, if mine are to far back it gives me ded arms sloutching on bike, bars are fporward it makes u sit in a good attack position smile

Ahh mind reader, was gunna get the jd kit at end of month! Runs fine atm but i haven't done the 3x3 mod yet to benefit the k&n filter!

no worries £20 posted u can have the lot. a needle in there aswell that was 7 quid on its own

and a mixture screw

each jets was 3-4 quid  cost me a small fortune gettin mine runnin right ha smile
