Has any one found a bearing factor that can suply  a bearing to fit the bottom shock bush after much soaking with WD and spitting and using naughty words managed to get the old one out well chuffed then went on the web and the local Yam dealer only to be told they don't do them you have to buy the full shock ?? me not happy bunny and think there must be some one that does them there are firms out there that rebuild shocks surly they must be able to get them ?? , a bit daft if you ask me the one at the top you can get but that one is not the one that moves the most and is not the one that gets all the crap thrown at it and is never going to wear first is it me or is some one having a pull at my leg ??  NOBS comes to mind

Ye but it's frustrating to have a good shock apart from a rose joint that is replaceable if you cold just get the part , must have been a lot of perfectly good shocks thrown away for the sake of that joint , surprising how many people get the different bush/ bearing /rose joints, mixed up as well which confuses New Boys no end

Well I got the bolt out of mine after taking the swing arm shock out and getting it where I could work on it, once out the joint looked that rusted in , I just put it on one side thinking that's had it , and got another off a forum member with swing arm as the arm on mine was rusted through but not liking to be beaten I soaked the shock joint in WD every night for 3 or 4 days and gave it a scrape round the circlip until I could see it and get it to move and then once I had the clip out the rose joint its self came out ok with a little help from the tap tap machine so now I am sat with a good shock that just needs a joint , Oh well it can sit there till I have time to play with it , what I may do is take the spring off take the mounting off the shock rod and see if I can get some thing worked out for it you never know , poverty is the mother of much invention (or in other words bodging ) well it is in my garage cum tip
