Its not 300cc you are limited to Daz its the power, its 33 bhp I think , unles it has altered you can get a retricter for any bike you wan't , cc nont matter
aye it's limited to 33bhp, you're best off spending more cash on a 600cc and getting it restricted, wont have to worry about buying a new bike by the time the restriction is lifted then
^ i did that and its pointless my Gixxer was a fuel guzzling monster with the restrictors & the insurance will be pretty stupid aswell i got lucky as the frame on my Gixxer was registered as a GSXF with a GSXR engine in it!
passed bike theory on wednesday.start my lessons tomorrow.the instructor is squezzing me in for my test in four weeks time. instead of around 10.so next weekend onwards ive four hours on saturdays and four on sundays. takeing it on my dt.its cost me £460 but will be worth it.
yeah mine recommended not doin it that way either summin to do with if you fail mod 1 you may lose your mod 2 fee an date because of having to retake the mod1 . depends how confident you are iv only had two lessons to get the basics an carry then on teaching yourself. am doing it on my dt aswell so itll be a restricted licence but not bothered love my dt just not the big L's
i think i did 4 hours total for mod 1 & 2, that without being on a bike in 4 months aswell, mod 1 is so easy, if you can ride slow you will piss it, mod 2 is just be safe basically!
Just passed my part 1 & 2 a few weeks back. I did a three day course with my part 1 and 2 on the third day. I was bloody nervous! Nothing to worry about in the end though, picked up one minor point in total for going slightly too slow through the speed trap on the emergency stop. As a 'reward' for passing, me and the other fella doing his test got to blast the CBF600's back home via the motorway - was awesome fun and a day I'll never forget. Just relax and enjoy the training and tests - view it as time spent riding bikes. What could be better than that? Here's a pic of the bike I passed my test on:

Sound pies of kit them my mate has one and had one of the earlier models for 5 years and was that pleased with it he got one the same as that , lot more comfortable than the CBR for on the every day use just as good and all you need , have you ordered one ??
Nope I've not ordered one, that's just the one I did my training/test on. It was a lovely bike but to be honest I've not got much to compare it to other than my DT haha. I'm gonna go for a Triumph Street Triple, just saving up for one now. Can't bloody wait :D
just does 4 hours riding my dt doing riding lessons and my arse is numb.got my module 1 next week.my instructor is takeing me to the testing dept tomorrow so hopefully get to practice for it.
when he take u to the dsa ground the actual mod 1 will be the exact same as that one, the most important part of the mod 1 is the lifesaver before the uturn!
