clutch basket components if u wanna see inside !!

so had a play with an old basket earlier, wanted to see its design as they all differ from 1 brand to another

as u can see whan the back plate is removed you can see the rubbers, most bigger bikes have springs in there design

bit of a bummer you cant buy these for the dtr as it would be a good fix and cheaper

Aye nice one norfe, no way of bolting back somehow with countersunk allen screws? orwould a nut catch on the other side(small cog side)

yeah thats what i was thing ing if i countersink the back plate abit to let them sit in more it will be fine, then thread the 3 basket holes with M8

it will bolt back up

i think if some thin strips of plastic pvc or similar is used and pushed in to the gaps it would take all the slack up, as the rubbers dont look mis shapes as worn on any edges and there all stiff still so am assuming theres that play from the factory, must be as how its inside theres nowt to stop it
