wr200, it has been done before on the german forum

1st got to sort the topend then

open the transferports on the cases

the wr has 57mm stroke the dt has 50.7mm

i am fitting the 57 crank, which i will have to open the crank cases to fit it, the crank bearings are the same size as the dt

heres some pics

see the only difference between the WR and DT case in the pic is the crank housing

Looks a good plan does that, am starting a bottom end rebuild soon, may see about banging a 57mm con rod on the dt crank if possible. Norfe how easy it to split up the crank, to replace con rod?

today,

orderd wiseco crank and piston

measured the bore and it was at standard size so i bought a +0.2mm

the head studs will need helicoils,

waiting for parts to come,

the barrel will be powdercoated blue, and the head and powervale caps will be silver

the wiseco gaskets arrived today,

look at the pics of the two pistons11042012348.jpg11042012350.jpg11042012351.jpg11042012352.jpg11042012349.jpg

gumtree mate plymouth, he had the bottom end for sale aswell, but that would have cost me more, and have to collect it,

the barrels plated as standard and has very good porting

3XP00 (wr200/dt200wr) or a 3ET00 (dt200r)non plated and no exhaust ports

Theres no way to be shure really if my crank is gonna be able to handle the 170cc in the long run.. But for you, Your driving with the crank of that cyllinder so you can guarantee its gonna handle it.

And the 170cc is only 166cc in reality, And considering i used to drive 1,5mm overbore that made my cyllinder 130 cc, Wich means the 170cc only gave me another 36cc.

Thinking about it that way it doesent sound that much harder for the crank, Or that much stronger than the stock cyllinder xD

could you not just buy a wr 200 con rod kit and fit it to the dtr crank?

isnt it just a longer rod, or is the crank pin in a diff place?
