You should stick a couple of these connectors in that handy toolpack Seanyftw

Saved my ass when I was on my way back from the midlands last week.        My clutch cable had snapped off at the nipple near the engine sidecry

This little GEM did the trick nicely for a temp fix to get us back homebiggrin

Just found this today down Halfords. Worth a look for people looking for an inexpensive kit. We all know how many DTs come without theirs and this has almost everything i think i need for now haha. Not bad for a tenner!

no spanners

ill stick a pic ov mine on later smile

i always change every fastner on my bike to allen bolts then its less of a range of tools you need to have for stuff

a small adjustable wide jaw one is a good tool to carry

small ratchet 7-14mm sockets

most of thing is prep work

use spring washers, thread loc & nylock nuts

and make sure all fastners are torqued to spek

most of the time only thing i have to worrk about is punctures furious
