Hi guys am after some advice pls, i got n old dtr off ebay few months bck for pennies, u no wat they say about getting what u pay for, anyway am gettin there slowly, got n 02 lump wiv powervalve servo n few other bits n bobs, but havin probs wiv carb so am gonna upgrade it, its currently 28mm round slide carb same as old tzr 2rk, i no a guy wiv dellorto 32mm off tzr bellgrada but its a bit dear, was wondering if a 30mm off old yz/kx100 wud fit and run or either a 32 or 34 dellorto off aprillia rs 125 wud fit n run n how much work wud b involved other than just rejetting?or wat about a 28mm dellorto off a tdr125 can get one of those cheap but its same size as current carb so wudnt be much point wud ther? Any ideas or advice really appreciated,
the old dtr round slides were 26mms i think pal any thing can be made to fit really im looking for a new carb now aswell but there going for silly money really id get theat of the belgrada if i could mate and get the inlet manifold will bolt str8 on
Yeah but arent the inlet manifolds a diffrent shape off tzr, i got a old 2rk engine in bits came with bike and on that inlet is straight but dtr one bends to angle so misses rear shock, yeah silly money at minute m8, found sum brand new universal 30mm powerjet carbs on ebay but they dnt look very gud, think ill try n do a deal for that bellgrada one, if not ill get an apprillia rs carb. wat about 34mm if i get an rd inlet?
