This is what DTRJoe used fits straight on I`m gonna get one when I stop spending monies on other stuff.

Shweet m8 I was gonna get NORFE to do an add on piece measured my foot and amount needed that was an inch & half same as what NORFE has on his. Thanks Nev as thats another lever to consider

I brought some Wulf Motocross boots and I can't reach the gear shifter because it's too near the foot peg and the boots have a high toe cap profile. I tried rotating the shifter up but the engine casing is in the way so I can't shift up a gear.

 

Anyone else countered a problem like this?

Yep, I put on a lever from my XT600, much longer, by about 1 1/2".

Also didn't Norfe use a shift lever from a DZR400?

Its the Crosser boots MDK causes loads of problems hitting neutral unable to select gear properly. But my mrs says im a big boy anyway. Well when she wants my credit card that is lol

 Personally i wear hiking trainers for the ankle support. I've never liked the idea of spending omre than £30 on a pair of shoes lol. Also where the **** do you get decent cheap size 13 riding boots from?


 so how much are your feet worth??? u only ever get one set !

1 crash and your life can change for ever, skin and bone  covered in soft material dont last long on tarmak

chopped the oem 1 up cut the ends off and welded some longer bar in looks masiv but fits be fine....

yeah I know what ya seyin guys lol

I have had a pair of cat boots for about 7 years now only used for rideing as they they seem to get on great with shifters ect ...

never got on with moto x boots dont feel right for me and gloves also I have to have realy thin type gloves . hate the fat finger biker type gloves

was about 6 cars behind a crash on a1 other day and he was on a bike with trakkies n trainers on he got knoked off by a wagon and draged down road with leg under his bike, heard police saying it will probly need amputating as it was ground down to nothing but a stump !

may aswell ride naked if ur not gonna wear proper gear lol

ooo sounds horrible, ive got a pair of small road boots that ive been wearing everytime i go out but now ive started to wear my motocross boots, alot bigger and offer alot more protection however i do find gear changing is hard

i got a decent pair of alpinestar tech 8's for 60 squid off evil-bay. i'll happily put up with someone else's foot cheese if it means i dont smash me ankles to  bits lol but gear change is shocking in them no

have a look in local papers and second hand shops iv has loadsa bike gear out second hand shops, gott a 100 quid jacket for a 5er new with tags

motocross boots 2.50

lethers for a 5er then sold em on ebay for 130

people seem to think its wrong and embarasin to go in second hand shops for some reason lol

plenty bargains to be had amung all the oap goodies ha
