It makes my current DT look like a flipping 50cc! It beats it off the mark and when it gets going! The cylinder (I have changed it for a 160cc since) was in immaculate condition! Not a single score. The bottom end is absolutely sound. No knocks, rattles or anything to be concerned about. The engine Is absolutely amazing! Although it does have black oil leaking from it but I'm pretty sure that it is unburnt two stroke. In fact I'm almost certain.

Shortly after the 160cc kit was fitted the clutch went. The clutch was probably on its way out anyway. The 160 kit just helped it out a bit.
So the cogs have been replaced, the clutch arm actuator replace, the clutch, the shock needs replacing and getting the brake light switch to work. Those and a few cosmetics were the only problems i've had so far. The engine is superb. RAVE all works. Everything else is spot on.
This is what she looks like now:
(Well actually it's got a new seat now. The rear seat is black. Looks much better black IMO)
Does this help at all?

i wanna get rid of my rs 125 to give me some money to spend on my dt the rs is on an 02 plate with 15k on the clocks got 12 months tax and mot till september im just about to put new crankbearings in and when i brought it i got told it had recently had a new clutch how much is it worth ??
So below is a photo of an Aprilia RS125 I bought in 2011 January for £700 from a USED dealers!
The bike has obviously been down the road. On the left hand side there is a few scuffs where it has been down the road. Three months after getting it the plastic cogs in the gearbox snapped. (Very common and DEADLY fault). These plastic cogs ultimately drive the oil pump!
The front headlight is not secure and wobbles with slight crack in the front fender. The Suspension was on its way out. Passed MOT though. Broken down 12 months down the road (Only used a nice days, has been used a handfull of times since i've owned it. Less than 50 times in the 15 months I've had it).
The red seat had a bit of that black grime which is difficult to come off. Also the bike had no battery.
Honest to god I payed £650 for this (Priced at 700 but the guy said he didn't have the log book but a different guy served me who found it but the price was already sold)
So the final. What problems does your RS have? As, from experience, they can be costly. Is it cosmetically damaged like mine was? Does it ride how it is suppose to i.e. should piss all over a DT170 Athena from standard. Is the shock going. I bought this from a dealer so £700 for all this AND from a dealer. I know that doesn't help cause I absolutely stole the bike from them. Although did make me laugh. When I was having a mooch, I asked them to turn it on. Didn't have a battery so they borrowed one and the guy started it and said 'O they don't usually sound like this' LMAO. He knew from the moment he started it that it was mechanically sound.
That's the spirit Nath. All my hardwork but fúck it. Sell it to some chav. Yeah well he makes a convincing case. They ain't going to know what it's worth. Sell it for 1300 if it's in good nick.
saying that it was a nightmare to start the DRZ choke fully in after about 2 hours of it being off to restart, gixxer 4 is 25 years older and starts no choke first time, so much for technilogical improvements?
Thats what the aprilias like. I could leav it standing for a few months and it'll start no poblems without choke (I managed to break that). Dt on the other hand, this is no joke, won't start without choke. If you don't believe me I'll record it. Always needs choke. Always. Once it's warm it'll have no problems. And once it's warm the choke can come off and runs fine. Well smokes loads to start with. Won't go pass a certain rpm initially. I love it. Makes it unraggable from cold.
Exactly the same as me Cal, Still needed choke today even in the red hot weather and in my steaming garage! Smokes a sh1t load, even if you leave her to tick over for 10 mins/blip the throttle a handful of times, she still splutters like fúck. Which is a good thing as you say because it prevents you ragging the bike when cold.
