Bit diffrent and faster than bloddy dtr's lol

Right then been a bit of a while since ive been on here but recnelty been helping my mate shaun aka costie 123 out with his dtr build as hes a bit of a thick git lol (only messing mate, you were  challenged from birth ) . so while his dtr build started mine sort of already started thanks to too top ends going and then finally crank death 6 weeks before crimbo !.

 

So first of all pictures this is the first full day of the mt owenrship which ended  drastic  by 1.30 pm,

yep thats the new sainsburys in ottery st mary wasnt planning on stoping here for any shoping but heh on this day i had no choice . basicly the bike had blown the rings and i was stuck in the sun in ottery for other a hour while i waitied for the missus to ring me (no bloddy credit ) , still this was the least of my worries to come.

yes i know a trialer would have been better and that even a longer bit of rope may have been even better but trust nothing would of stoped the near death expernce on the way home when the missus decided to boot it up to 40 then suddenly back off this is what happend :

yep thats where my front tyre hit the car and i nealry went strihgt down on the rd with the bike side ways too be fair i few f's and c's were said out my helment when this happend and i promised my self i would never do it again lol.

my bikes aprillia af1 125 (striped down  project ) , honda mt 50 : h100 engine rebuilt all by me along with the crank !, supermoto wheels , motorhispna swing arm , usds forks , geneli pipe , more stuff planned looking to get another dtr soon though !

so you think thats bad well guess what it only jsut started after blowing the bike up waiting for a hour to get picked up nearly dying on the way home , there was always gonna be something else waiting for me wernt there its jsut my luck you see.

 

upon getting home i went to get into my garage when the door decided **** this i dont want to work no more needless to say i lost my temper quite a bit after my days ordeal and sort of found a way to open it through the power of having a tantrum and ripping the crap outta it :

yep i stayed like for about 8 weeks while the councill got there arse in gear to fix it !,

 

anyways the bike got fixed about 3 days later whenthe new rings etc turned up and all was good again , it blew the rings and psiton a second time about 2 weeks later and i knew sooner or later i was gonna have to sort this **** out, what didnt help is the fact the actual engine is no longer a mt50 its a h100 which is a direct fit the lad who had it before me had put the engine in and geared to 50cc gearing so old bill woudnt sniff him out lol gd idea and the fuker wheelied really easy but youd go through the box like it was a ****ing cr80 from the 50,s lol.

 

now we start getting to some progress i was planning on fitting new chain ect and gearing jsut beofre crimbo when the ****er killed the crank i was on  way to mate's that night and it broke down locked the wheel all in the pissing rain , it was at this point i swore i was gonna sell it and and buy another lc bike , how ever due to the fact im skint still and haveen owned 2 dtrs , a rx 125 , the next crosser bike would have to be something cool and right now cool means money!, so after the red mist had setteld i picked the bike up a few days later and it sat in my garage for a few days looking sorry for itself :

so then i decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and see hwat i could build out my bits i have this is where the mt stoped being a gayboy bike and started to take hold of how i pictured in my head:

the forks fitted great and from there on i know the way i wanted to go with the build a bit of oldskool and new skool.

theres one thing though i knew that id have to change to get the right sort of blance with the forn end, yep that swing arm at first i though meh mono shock it , then i decided it would go against the mts nature so i thought a ha  ill kill two birds with one stone and change the swinger and be able to convert to run rear disc !!!

 

 

then it sort of jumps a bit as i have a habbit of jsut cracking on with work sometimes but basicly this is how it stood a few weeks back

this was respyed in gloss black altoght with the same old swing arm i have more pictures to take and stuff to show very soon would love to know everyones views though as costie said its **** lol and i know really hes jealous cause ive told him through some micreal im going creme on the rd and in the woods lol
