yeah so, i've come to the decision that i wanna drill/dremmel out my barrel but idk where to start on doing this, anyone got tips/images/tutorial on what to do with it to make it perfect? i dont wanna start grinding it down till i know exactly wehre to start etc. cheers now

Needs to be spot on. Dremmel isn't the sort of tool you'd use mate. Expensive, high tec machinery is what you'd need. You'd need exact measurements and timing of the piston. You'd need to know the workings of the internal combustion engine down to the tick in order to increase the size of the power ports to actually increase power.

Other words, send it off to a specialist.

That's before you even get a computer to calculate all the measurements. Spend time finding out how it should be EXACTLY

You're asking for trouble when you start piissing around with engine, just leave it and if you get the dollar do as everyone else, bigger carb, reeds, top end yadayad blabla.

if you dont want to bother with the theory just grab your dremel, a flexi drive and a right angled piece and clean the ports up

get it all nice and smooth, you wouldnt even have to worry about opening up the ports too much except for the port windows.

dont mess with the port windows otherwise youll be messing with the timing

have a look at the crankcase tuning thread, theres some good info in there
