So today it happend. I crashed. Got some brand new tires was feeling though and tought i could drive really fast in turns. The power of gravity and so on and so forth proved me otherwise.
Was coming into a rather sharp turn uphill at about 60-70 mph. and then at pretty much the start of the turn, i had WAY to much speed for a turn like that ... The rear wheel gled and my bike went right into the fence on the road. And i was sliding along after it on the asphalt.
So my rear wheel is damaged pretty bad. And the silencer on my exhaust is crushed. theres also a small dent on the frame itself. but its underneath the rear fender, And can hopefully be fixed. If not its not too bad to notice actually..
The steer was also damaged..
I fortunately got out of it with just a coupple of scratches.
Hehe, Thanks. I wasnt very happy when i lay there sliding on the asphalt watching my bike sliding with me. And the sound of the metal against the asphalt.... My poor bike
Haha yeah, I now know my dt is in fact a enduro bike and isnt made for driving 60-70 mph trough turns that sharp. Atleast not with those tires... I dont have too knobbly tires but their not sumo tires like the ones on the dtx either.
Hahahahaha you bunch of trolls lol! But seriously that made me giggle, you have a crash and your council want you to pay for new road materials lmfao!!!
Tell them they'll get there money for the asphault when you get your council tax and road tax refunded!
Thats too bad about the bike, it shouldn't be too hard to fix though, aslong as your ok its all good really, i've been in that position sliding beside the bike and it haunted me for a few nights but over the next few weeks I got the money together and built the bike up better than it was before I crashed so it wasn't all bad!
I hope you guys onderstood it was a joke. The part a bout i had to pay for the asphalt... the joke was me being so badass that the asphalt got damaged when i landed on it....
Well. I didnt take any pictures off the crash, was a car behind me and i was a bit shocked really so i just wanted to be quick and get up and get the bike up to show i was okay.
Can take pics tomorrow of the dented rear rim and the crushd end can xD
A Sumo convertion is now highly possible. The stolen bike i talked about earlier, Is going to be retrieved by the original owner. And im childhood friends with him, And he said i could buy the swingarm + DTX wheels + rear brake and wheel bolts for about 50 Quid. Thats gotta be a bargain.
