ahaha, Thanks xD. Yeah looks really nice as a sumo :D ! cant wait to take her out for a spin tomorrow in the sun. i just finnished it actually. that pic was proboably taken 5 mins after the bike was completely converted. And posted here right afterwards.

For some reason the electrical restriction is now on the bike. Gotta fix that tomorrow, i think i know what wire to earth to the frame. Im pretty shure thats whats it, cause it wasnt running like it should when i tested it. Seems like how my friend described how hes bike acted up when the earthed wire vibrated loose.

Is the exhaust that bad? If not i'd defo spend some time polishing it, would be worth keeping it nice and shiny if possible!

Norfe. Ive changed the front shock and rear shock too ;). Theese wheels are heavier than the RE wheels. And the dt125x has more of its weight on the front, if you know what i mean, the point of balance is messed up compared to what i was used to with my RE.

Just gotta re-learn the balance point and all that then i should be back in business wheelieng ! :D

Yeah well it's your fork seals....

They're not for style they're there to protect the fork seals!

Get some like these:

Calcum. The dt 125 x shocks has some seals on top of the oil seals that push off dirt and **** from your shock before it goes down and damages the oil seals..

You didnt really think Yamaha would deliver DT125X`s without some protection to the oil seal? ^^

O is it. Fair enough. Nah wouldn't bother then. lol. I must admit though. I do like the Acerbis fork socks. I don't like to rust up the chrome.

Did any of you notice any change in how they wheelie after u converted them into a dtx ?.

A friend of mine has a dtx. And it barely wheelies at ALL !, Even though it has a dep fitted.

My bike is lifted up on the front and the rear. And the steer itself is also lifted a fair bit. And mine wheelies quiet well. im thinking its because of it being pretty high tough. i dont think i can reach to the ground and have both my feet flat on the ground anymore xD
