Right guys, after reading http://dt125r.activeboard.com/t25126106/pinning-the-powervalve-open-on-a-dtr/

and also reading http://www.dtr125.net/tuning97to99.htm

im still none the wiser at sorting my powervalve out!!!

has anyone got a picture of the valve open/close so i can work it out?? the last link above mentions rotating the powervalve 180 degrees the putting the pulley back on.. my heads all over the place at the moment with this!!!!

I do hope someone can enlighten me!!

what are u trying to do pin it open or closed

take the piper off then u can feel where the valve is, if uv had the servo on take the bush out put the 1 i sent u with the square end  opening over the end ov the pv

then put the cap on and its got a small locating stud that sits in the inner bush

then put the m6 bolt thru the middle and wind the locknut tight....simplessmile

Pin the valve open...

Here's 88-96 http://www.dtr125.net/tuning.htm

Which shows the parts I got of you!!

Heres 97-99 http://www.dtr125.net/tuning97to99.htm

It seems different for different years

Here's 00-03 http://www.dtr125.net/tuningnewer.htm

Here's 04-onwards http://www.dtr125.net/tuning-04-onwards.htm

Reading the 97-99 mod if you read through you need to turn the powervalve 180 degrees to derestrict it

Item 6&7 I'm now confused even more!!!!

The valve is at the bottom

Will the valve come out in one piece??

Don't want to drop one of the guide pins!!!!

If you look on the end of the valve Coastie, theres a centre pop mark, this should be at the top left of the 'diamond' that fits up to the pulley, this mark lets you know which way round the valve is and that mark lines up with the 2 pulley housing bolt holes, in a diagonal, if ya get what I mean?, but like Norfe said you need to look up the exhaust or even run your finger inside the exhaust port at the top and feel so its flush with the power valve.

Good advice. I'm going to be removing my PV with the engine complete so will remember to do this before I take it out.
