Have a look in the exploded parts thread I put on, it gives you the dimensions on there, looking at your picture, I'd say you have a TM28 mikuni.

I am trying to find some info regarding the Mikuni flatside carb fitted to my 1991 DT125r.

I cannot make out any writing on it at all other than Mikuni.

Looks like a previous owner tried polishing it and has wire wooled it all off.

I notice it must have been apart previously as the float bowl screws are all different.

I would like to service it but am unsure what model it is or if there is a service kit? TM model?

Also if you look at the floats, are they supposed to hang down below the hinge arm ie, opposite of this pic? (that is where they are at present!)

I am still confused if this thing has the right size main jet??? There is no 130 on any model in the Haynes manual? Any ideas where to buy a jet from? i just want a standard one fitting (unless someone has a standard one kicking about?)

Ok early ones standard are 26mm Venturi and 210 main,if you deres then put it to a 240,,,,,later ones are 28mm with 240 main and with dep should be 260 main for the revs up high ,hope this helps dude + the other jets are different too,if it helps mine is a 1990 with a 26mm and can't be touched on performance by any L plater in miles ha ha ,I can give you the rest of sizes if needed and it's been "old faithful" for years ,sound as a pound

Try this its worth checking:3mb main 210 ,air jet 0.7,jet needle5j25,needle clip position (with plastic spacers either side) 4th from top, throttle cut away 2.5,PILOT jet 22.5 ,your air screw needs to be roughly 1.5 turns out (depends on whole setup of bike ),float height 20-21mm and idle speed in the region of 1300-1400, start from checking these and you will hear her rip lol
