Just the engine itself in decent enough condition would fetch 300+

well thanks chaps for the praise sorry I did not recognize the Lanza Carlos it looks ok , and yours DK I like that mine is well battle scared and will take a long time o get up to your standard but as time goes who knows but if I do I would be well chuffed I am quite pleased with the out cum when you think back to the state of it when I got it but first impressions are good and now means it is worth carrying on with it and get rid of the XL first jobs will be front brake then big chain conversion that original is not going to last long in the poooooooower bannnnnnnd it has some life left in it yet but when it does need to be changed it will be beefed up then as yours gets battle scared and mine gets smartened up we will be close to a matching pair DK I hope but you are setting a high standard for a use and abuse young lad like me 22 and a little bit Ha Ha

ALL the other stickers on mine are original from new...the DT on the front are photo shoped on as I was just seening how they looked but will be planning to have them made up.

and as for her getting battle scars lol I bought her as a barn find and she realy was in a barn for over 10 years  and was just dusty but after a oil change and carb clean started streight away and has only had 1 owner from new I am now the second  total bargain for £450 .. she has spent another 2 years in my shed and at some point I will mot her soon and get her back on the road ...

these are close to the proper year stickers http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/YAMAHA-DT125-90-91-GRAPHIC-9-/110836945944?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item19ce659418

heres the type stickers I was thinking of haveing made up

no cutting good soaking of the good old WD and she came to bits ok , must admit at first look I thought it was too far gone and it would be a chop it up and flog the bits that were usable ,but the more I got in to it the more I thought this is do able and so then a couple of ebay purchases and some on here and free advice on here and between us we have what you see in the photos ,and from me its a big thanks to all for the advice and encouragement it did save me both time and money it has been appreciated it is reassuring to have you lot behind you when taking a job like this on, so spot on guys take a bow
