I did mine on my dt with a 170 lump on her aswell lol.. in all honesty m8 the testers are glad to see an ol dt youl pizz it i even slightly skidded on my emergency stop but he liked my control an relase on the skid that he ignored it . just make sure your brake lights work thats all he will see of your bike instruments an obviously your taxed motd an insured an your number plates legal job done... id advise not to do it on your dt tho an just pay the extra cos the restriction is a gut out once you pass the test youl regret not doing an unrestricted like myself just wishing id payed the extra 20 notes to use a bigger bike on the test days..

i did it on my bike and the instructor goes im glad to see a nice yamha doing it im sick of these **** cg's ybr's and crappy imports doing it haha said i was doing it propper mx style aswell around the thing haha had it up i did =]
To be up to requirements you need properly displayed L plates, working brakes, lights, tyres etc and speedo. That's all there is to a bike tbh and anything else should be irrelevant.
