I dropped the bloody bike this afternoon. Thankfully, not a jot of damage as I just managed to hold it enough to lay it down gently.
Norfe gave me a disc lock, which I've never had before, so I blame this squarly on him. ;)
Set off, again thankfully slowly, but was stood up, and off I went. Idiot!
In other news, I've sorted my bad ass wrist problem. Took the clutch cable off, hung it on a wall and filled the bugger with 3 in 1. Clutch feels proper now.
Got to get rid of these L plates too. I'm going to try to get the mod 1 out of the way asap.
Nah, this one is for looking after, and I'm too old and boring to be ragging stuff around...too much. :)
Mate of mine has an original Hayabusa. It's mint, and I mean mint. One of those owners that sits and cleans after every ride, which is about 4 times a year. He recently parked in a car park and some bint reversed in to it, knocking it over. Gutted.
Dropped it again. I'm a ****. I have now bought a reminder lanyard, so I can forget the bloody disc lock.
Currently in Swindon, which ain't a bad run from Preston. I've discovered staying at 55mph works best. I did a long stint at 70, and when I pulled off on the to slip road, the engine did not feel happy at all, so I stopped and let it chill out of a bit. Still, been blasting along all day and loving it.
