does anyone on here have or use roadside assistance/ breakdown cover. could anyone point me towards any good ones to use
green flag want 130quid a year for it the muggers.. for one trip a year to essex no repairs just a nationwide pickup if i was to breakdown rip off if you ask me
I use AA mate, that covers me for car n bike, but also if you have a Natwest Bank account and you go for an Advantage Gold Account which costs £12.99 a month, you get a fair few benefits from that too, free Green Flag breakdown cover, free travel insurance, free mobile phone insurance for two phones, amongst a fair bit of other stuff too. Here see what ya reckon http://www.natwest.com/personal/adgold/g1/use-benefits.ashx
cheers nev yeah delved into that one i actually forgot the original AA £72 a year they come up with alot better than green flags £130.
as for me getting a different bank account with all my different names an depol statements its an absolute nightmare . may look into what my banks got to offer along those lines tho too cheers fella
AA roadside and recovery. £7 a month and covered for any vehicle i'm travelling in/on
yeah thats roughly the 70 odd quid a year one i looked at earlier fella ... i probably will go with them.
i found a few unheard of bike recovery services on comparison sites but with them being unknown could be waiting for a week for 1 turning up if i broke down
check your insurance , a lot have basic recovery built in , only had to use it once and it was RAC that turned up and took the wife and I and the bike home took a good 3 hrs to get us the 40 miles home from the call up but at least it was home
Oh must check mine did not notice any mileage limits on it under 10 mile I would not be bothered as I could get sorted myself faster than they would, its when you are a long way from home that I would need it

Not had time to look but mine was EU as well as UK free with my Insurance ,never heard any thing about the 10 mile thing other than some covers would not cover under so far from home , but suppose they will all be different
