they do free up in the end mate a little i think i just got used to knocking the gears down with the heel a bit more in em

Lol jokes is there a long chrosser gear lever that I can get looked at XT600 gear and they don't look nice

Had these boots for bout a year they still won't bend like wearing a block of concrete any advice on what to do should I just scrap em or am I wearing them wrong way

What bout up can't get my foot under the peg without a mission raised the peg but it just didn't feel right

Use a longer gear lever, I used my XT600 for mine much longer and easier on changing gears, oh aye you may need to mark yer boots with a 'R' & 'L' cos yer feet will hurt ya if you put them on as they are.

hate full length boots my self always go for shorter ankle hight boots gota have the ankle movement ...

 +1 much better suited. the alloy ones wont last off road though hmm one drop on that side and its history.... xt lever is a better option imo. to soften your boots up so they bend,put them on,pour hot water over the toe area(not too hot) and then walk around on tip-toes (takes about an hour to break them in properly) they'll still be stiffish though due to the design....my tech 8's are just about worn in after 2 years biggrin
