Aye there some chunky USDA especially for a 50cc. Although this is the racing version of the bike so not 100% wether htey gave it some trick bits? Either way, massive stopping power and with some sthrenghthening it would be a beaut with something else shoehorned in there. I've seen a aprilis rs500 before.. Who knows ;) I'll get some proper build pics as I go along getting it running etc.

So, I'm after an engine to throw into this. We'll see how this pans out. Might just throw the DT in the garage and buy this off my brother and use the DTS engine in this for lols. Then get another engine and whack that in my DT..

Yeah also, I'm buying those wheels for my bike.

So has DTR Bradders.

GOING TO BE SICK!

Although I'm buying the RS125 version of the wheels. Much bigger.

If yours are exactly like the RS wheels I would keep them, I like the lower profile my rear one is phat :(

In fact these are the sort of profiles I want

Could well be dude, I think it may have been from the 125 2 stroke Derbi though. Not entirely sure if the 50cc 2 storke shares the same mounting points?

So found out that one of the crank bearings has gone :( Got the bike running but it's rough as **** and when I took the head off the rings were smashed to bits. Wiggled the stator and the whole thing moves about a cm up and down :|

Yeah, I mean a whole new crank for the 50cc engine from a racing company only costs £43, an 80cc kit only costs £79.. I might aswell just turn the engine into something that'll fly and race around on it for abit registered as a 30mph 50cc bike.. hahah

Alright fellas?

Ive got a little bit of a problem, the vacuum fed fuel pump thing on the fuel tank is faulty and is pissing me off as it makes the bike run **** and cut out at **** times. I'm thinking of just getting rid of it for now and jubilee clipping another on/off fuel tap in place of it. I don't see a problem with it as the carb hasn't been modified at all to allow for the low gravity vacuum tap so.. I'll update accordingly. I'm putting all my effort into this atm as I still can't find a decent cheap ish place to get the engine done. :(

Exactly the same as that one, it's 30 quid with postage and if I'm honest I want rid of it in general as it's just another thing to go wrong/be temperamental.

Aye have a vacuum tap exactly the same as that Carlos, but mine doesnt have the wires coming from it, to be honest never seen one with wires before, the one I have just works on a diaphragm inside it creating the vacuum, if thats any good yer welcome to it.

Ah fook it mate it'll only be a couple of quid, I went and fetched a DT tank today, cost me a tenner, while I was there bloke flogged me a 28mm Mikuni for £20, then went on to give me a BIG ONE end pipe, and a TDR 3 spoked back wheel for nowt. Pass it on is how I roll mate. Just pm me your home address and I'll bang a couple of taps in the post.
