i have managed to aquire two yamaha motorbikes.

a 2011 wr125 (insurance right off frame damage)

2001 dt125 ( insurance right off stolen recoverd)

the are being dropped of at my dads in poole over the next week or two. i of corse will post some pics. gonna use someof the parts to get my bike looking good and running better, then try to build a 4 stroke dt (maybe) but there might be a chance that there are afew floating parts, so will keep ya posted as to what is avalable.

What do u guys think i should do?

Sounds like a good lot there. I cant see why you would make a 4 stroke DT though, the other way round would make more sense. As funky says, the WR parts are probably worth a bit so f it were me I'd break the WR and selll the parts and then re build the DT for the road.

Well I will se what condition they are in when they are in home. My wife likes the idea of the 4stroke dt, so maybe it will be for her. Idk yet

Mate! If you can get the dt engine fit into the wr, do it. My mate's got one, the riding position's so much better and it just handles much nicer. The main thing that lets it down is it is ****ing slow lol.

And true about the parts, the panels are about £50 a pop and he's gone through about 4 of them lol.

I think there is far too much there for a young lad like you ,you should ship them up to me to play with , I could make room in the garage in no time but don't tell the wife she thinks its full LOL

i had a wr, the breaks are pants, but they drive nice. utterly gutless as youd imagine of a 4 stroke.

but for a cheap run around with a noisey pipe fitted they are half decent big bikes
