Indicators/Tail Tidy

I noticed tail tidies don't seem to include indicator brackets/mounts/etc and I noticed some people removed their indicators (either that or I have crap eye sight). Did y'all remove your indicators because the tail tidies don't have brackets to accommodate them or just because you wanted to remove them anyway?

Sorry to dig up old thread but can you just explain about these nuts you mean? Interested in having mini indicators at back but don't have original mounts for the rear.
Also what is the score with indicators? If I have none fitted will it fail mot? What about the switch up front do I remove it/cover it up?
Only for mot time and then I have more time to sort.

Just have a look at the rear of the bike. Can't imagine there being too many places you can mount them..

My tail tidy has holes for indicators - i had them on there until i dropped it when i was laning and snapped one off - took the rest off after that. Passed the MOT no problems without indicators too.

Regarding no indicators and mot. Did you cover the switch for indicators ? Anything mentioned about them? U have any better pics from behind of tail tidy please mate? If it looks ok I might order new one? Lights all work as needed, what about number plate light? etc etc? Sorry for all questions

if you remove the indicators you have to remove the switch aswell, on mine i just opened up the indi switch housing and unscrewed the switch lever and took it out then i peeled off the small sticker above the switch,, only evidence of my bike having indis was the small rectangle hole in the housing where the switch lever used to poke thru.

Right here you go.

First thing is try searching on the forum before you ask questions cos there's an old thread with pics.biggrin

This the same as my tail tidy

And the thread with other pics is here

If its not on there it'll won't fail. IF! You have the switches but no indicators then it's a fail since technically they don't work. Must have been lucky though.
