basically I have been sidetracked with the new GF, but now getting back to my other lady wink

i just can't remember if the stator sits on the parts i have coloured red, which it won't sit on, but might neeed modding since another part i had to dremel, also the parts BLUE look more raised up than on my old engine, but haven't got it with me to compair,

this engine was electric start so had the stator bolted to the engine cover.

i have fitted the stator but not sure how level it is

also realised that the kictart mechanism is buggered so im going to fit my old one, furious

cheers

Left crankcase is different on electric start models as the crank is wider to accomodate all the startermotor stuff. I have never tried to fit a normal stator plate to an electric start engine did you manage ok ?

I guess you did get it sorted as like you say only 2 screws hold it and its not adjustable for timing etc so it can only sit in one place when I think about it.
