My tax ran out on the 29 of sept i think or 30th.
I've only ridden for 2 days short rides no one's pulled me over but i only realised today when i was cleaning it.
Fuuuuccck,
Will i get a letter or something?
It's taxed now though

I know people who ride around un taxed all the time because they don't get round to doing it (I wouldn't though...)

They say it's on a database, but unless you get pulled nothing will come of it

My mate didn't have an mot on his car for 3 months and never realized

Ah man i freaked out then, so if a police car knew you had no tax they would pull you over or send a letter?

Not for a couple of days being out of tax, not sure if they still do it, but they used to allow a few days grace, in getting it taxed.

Nah if you flagged up as no tax either on an ANPR or reg check they would pull you 100% to see if it's an error or not

Only letters they would send is to remind you to buy or sorn it and like nev said even if they did pull you for a couple of days they may even let it slide

Ohhhh okay man cheers for that :) , thankfully i got it sorted but the thing is in my town they are trying to reduce numbers of bikers by taking them off road we got loads in a small town lol

I haven't had tax since last may...to be fair, didn't have logbook and then didn't have bike on the road...although I didn't sorn it. Nothing as of yet...getting tax in next two days now I'm riding again

I got a letter through about a fortnight before mine ran out. had a code to use online retaxed in like 5 minutes lol.
