I have just fitted a full Giannelli system to my 88 DT200 , the expansion box is well made, weighs 2.25kg ( 2kg lighter than standard) I was expecting the welded cone one as shown on their site ,but it is pressed sections welded but feels strong , all the fixings line up and there are lugs to attach the original heat shield. The silencer is rivetted at one end only so repacking may be awkward. Sounds really tinny just like a real 2 stroke lol , compared to the old setup , no doubt this will soften as it gets a layer of carbon in it . initial impression is that power seems much the same but it does rev to 9400 now , previously it went to 8400 , the original system on a DT200 does not have any restrictions so on a 125 you may notice more power. Changed the reeds to Hy Tech , the old reeds were soft by comparison whether thats by aging or design I don't know .You can see in the top pic the difference between the 2 exhausts , this is the same system as on dt125.
