Just wondering, Does anyone know of any yamaha dealers which the majority of the time have the parts you need in stock for your DT??? Its so annoying ordering something as small as a pilot jet and it taking 5 days + for it to come in... See I remember someone once mentioning how one company (dont know if it was a yammy dealer tho) had so many dts for sale in its showroom and its places like these which make me wonder if i can order parts elsewhere and majority of the time I'll have them on my door step in a couple of days

Things like jets you don't need to get from yamaha.

Compared to scooters and R6 looms I dont think theres many that stock ungeneric parts for the DT man. Most come from Holland or their warehouse over here. Should only be 2-3 days to come from Holland, any longer means they forgot to put it on the order sheet, happened to me a few times

Also I've found Ajsutton to be reliable, all the parts i have ordered from there were genuine. For non-gen parts i've been using yambits.co.uk super fast delivery from these guys, they do jets for cheap too (2.50 instead of 3.50 from Motocarb)

I've used AJ sutton a few times but last time I ordered a head gasket from them for the dt, took about 2 weeks put me off a bit tbh. Try and get anything that isn't too important from the breakers and most other stuff like pistons off ebay.

AJSutton is alright if you're not in too much of a hurry. The closet thing you'll come to for a dealer specifically for DT parts is going to be people like NORFE like Deeteemx who just horde parts and are willing to sell them. Since the DT is out of production I seriously doubt you'll find a specific DT shop.
