well i couldnt be arsed to rebuild the engine so i had it done on 8500 miles. Took months as i wasnt in any rush. Picked it up on saturday after having a new piston, bearings, rebore, gaskets, crank for £380. Holy fook its goes like sh** and no smoke. Have to be so carefull to run it in without killing it. Powervalve and servo set up and it pulls like a train - i was happy before but i cant believe the difference its made. . Total miles last year errrrr 250 cause it was a bitch to start and topped out at 50 with lovely white smoke billowing out of its arse. Just need to adjust the insurance value now and hope we get some nice dry weather.
