I've been trying to sort out my insurance tonight over my excess being £900.. yet my 2 years no claims dose nothing to help me. They then wanted me to pay £62.80 a month to take off the excess but i phoned them and told them no. keep my payments to 32.00 a month. is it just me or is eveyone getting stinged for insurance they don't need or even want.. This is with MCE.. My Mrs was on the insurance with me but have took her off as she can now drive. but even with her on the insurance last year my excess was only 500. and yet paid 25.00 per month with the same company
just seems to part of a world wide p1ss take mate to be fair. you wont get anything for loylty in this day and age either. tell them you want to leave and they will normally put you through to a department which will try to keep you there...
Insurance is always going up, it will never go down if you think they are taking the piss shop around it's the only way to ensure you are getting the best price
Even when it was enforced within the law that women had to pay the same amount as men did they raise womens premiums and lower mens to equal it out?
Obviously not just whack up womens to the same amount
It's also going to be made illegal to claim whiplash - haven't got a source but heard it from several people studying law. Their main excuse at the moment is 'they are high to cover the extorinate whiplash claims'
So when you won't be able to claim for that and insurance companies aren't loosing out on as much money will they reduce the premium? It will still go up...
