Remember the Toyota GT86 advert? Guy drives around an animated city and then smashes out of some glass barrier

Well hopefully you do because you won't be seeing it again.

It's banned from TV and I assume other forms of media due to two complaints

Yes you heard, TWO COMPLAINTS!

The bloody thing isn't even that bad. I think there's a couple of old moaning crones down my road, they don't like people driving past their house maybe all cars should just be banned?

If you want something else to get annoyed about this clown is trying to ban a charity tunnel run event that happens twice a year.

http://www.facebook.com/JimFitzpatrickMP

Just read the comments it's quite funny

To sum up;

He stated that he will be trying to ban due to illegal and unsafe driving putting peoples lives at risk.

It was then quite embarrassingly pointed out by hundreds of people that no one drives dangerously it is just driving through tunnels under the speed limit to admire engine noise - and also the police are always present and ready to deal with anyone breaking the law but rarely do. Not to mention it raised thousands of pounds for charity.

He then moves his stance to people can't get to sleep at night yet the council have received NO complaints, only he has 'heard' of stuff (probably rumors, who knows)

So considering bonfire night is 5th November why the **** have they been going off every night for the last two weeks? Oh yeah forgot that's 'festive' never mind my dog won't shut up and I can't get any sleep. Don't see this getting banned even though there's probably far more casualties with fireworks than tunnel runs.

Have seen a lot of evidence recently who don't understand and don't want to compromise with car / motorbike culture and just all tar us with some chav / boy racer image because we decide they are better off than they were out of the factory.

Rant over biggrin

Pretty much just have to find ways of getting around stuff :)

Just sad how some people want society to go

Instead of telling people to man up and accept something they cower against the threat of lawsuits

To be honest I can't see it myself.

I can't see where they got that idea of reckless driving from.
