TZR and DT compatability?

i have a spare tzr125 1987-1989 2rk/2rh bottom end sitting here doing nothing.

i also have a 2004 dt125r sm, which has no kickstart shaft  fitted, just the bung in its place

would the tzr kick start bits all fit in the 2004 dt? so that i can get myself kicking the dt up instead of relying on the elec start? ive looked online at pictures of both shafts and they seem to look the same, id prefer to be 100% sure though before ripping apart engines

thanks

Cheers Tom, aye 110% mate, alls good. And its really easy too, just refer to the manual if needs be, and make sure you have all the parts needed is all, check out the exploded parts view I put on here

Yep, all will fit Tom, I put a DT kickstart on my 4DL TZR engine, also I had to put in the rev counter gearing on/in it too, as that also had been blanked off.

woah! that was a quick reply, cheers NEV, ive seen your dt build thread on another forum earlier today, looks brilliant!

so your 100% the idler gear and kickstart shaft are direct swap overs? i'll need to find somewhere that can do it for me now, as im not that confident with gearboxs and the like

thanks
