A drop of threadlock on the dowels when you have cleaned the pv will hold them in place for the future. Have you got the service manual ?

I can email you the haynes manual, the link on here seems to be dead

just found a live link, you want page 46

Hellloooo, I'm going to attempt my first top end rebuild, Just wondering how you disconnect the powervavle help would be much appreciated

Open both pv caps and undo all the bolts you find then it splits in two and comes out either side ,don't drop the little dowels from inside th pv as u take it out ,it can sometimes help to put a piece of wood up exhaust port to stop it turning while you do th bolts
