Came across this the other day, and seeing as a fair few people have trouble setting up their carbs, thought I'd put it up in here to help some. The bloke is using a KDX bike with a Keihin carb, but the principles, and techniques are the same for a Mikuni carb. You will however need to find out what size main jet , pilot jet, and type of needle you have on your own carb. One of the tips I found useful was to use Haemastats to compress the throttle spring, so as to get the lug on the end of the cable to sit inside its groove, any pike fisherman has these in their tackle box, I use them for getting treble hooks out, fishing tackle shops will sell them.
