Andy already told you on your first post, if your wanting to 'confirm' what he said how abouts you download the service manual for your dt and check it out yourself
My sight glass only has 1 line on the outside to line up oil level with , whereas in the Haynes manual the pic shows a sight glass with 2x lines next to it (idea being to fill the oil level so it sits between the 2 lines, if i only have 1 line do i fill it so its just above or just bleow ???? or do i just fu'k the line off completely and lob in 750ml?
What a douche! Like not being funny i'm all there for helping people but when its something simple like that you could have at least just looked. It gets answered lots of times. Plus the fact the amount is actually written on the side of the engine is a big give away.
lol , shouldn't there be 2 lines on the RE/X can anyone confirm? Calum how much different are USD's to dissassemble and work on or is it just a case of same as normal but just upside down? lol atb Gam
Gambodia, if you're looking at the manual Reef posted in that link, its up to 2002, I guess the RE/X has changed since, all should be good. Only a problem if its empty.
Engine wise its the same throughout the dt from 1989. I don't know mate. Haven't needed to dissemble any forks i've had. But i'd say its the same technology.
simples dude as said its 750ml the sight glass will never realy show you whats in there so best to drain then fill with new oil its not a costly item or job and can save you hundreds in the long run ...
