Lol. Hasn't loaded on my screen but if that is your signiture you're going to have to resize it please buddy

Yes it'll all fit.

The only difference is the colour and the fact that the DTX has a front brembo caliper which the fork leg compensates for. You'll probably need to machine up a bracket for the fork leg to accommodate for the bigger disc.

I don't know anything about that. What is the stanchions?

I don't think there are any changes other than what I've said already matey. Worse comes to worse I've got a spare set of RE yokes I could sell.

The stanchions are the chrome tubes i think they're the same size , will my dtx front wheel spindle fit RE forks? or will i have to craft something up?

ideally what im after is using my DTX with DTX wheels etc but with the forks and rear susp off an RE (i want that softer spongier off road feel ) has anyone thought of doing this /is this a good idea in theory?

I ryt. Yeah they're the same size.

To be quite honest mate you're better off with stiffer suspension. I'm not sure but isn't the shock slightly adjustable.

I didn't realise the two shocks were different in stiffness. Personally SM would be better with stiff suspension. As a rule of thumb the stiffer the ride the better the road holding!

I also prefer the colour of the DTX setup. Prefer the black. But it all comes down to personal preference.

thats what mine is ,iv had her since brand new .I always thought i'll get a DTR one day and spend Sh**loads of wonga at demon tweaks to SM it but then one day i walked into my local yam dealer and i laid my eyes on a DT but already kitted out with excels needless to say i signed up for finance that week ,mines an 05 reg in black prob got about 8000 miles on it, i want to get some DD decals for it to spice it up abit, one thing i would like to know is where can i get fairing screws from as im after them in anodised red (or even the fairing screw size ie M3 M5 etc i don't mind hacksawing them to fit) then i'll be looking for engine bolts sprocket bolts and all the fancy trimmings. no doubt i'll have countless other questuons to ask as i go

Pro bolt do some bolts for it. Pricey though and I wouldn't recommend aluminium.

Type in 'boltmeup' on eBay. I highly recommend them.
