That is decent, well done mate, see how it still comes up as dt125.tk up on the address bar when your going through the forum, that is good

If site stickers get eventually made up we should use dt125.tk

Just save the site address as a bookmark and click that instead of typing the whole address every time ..... or am i missing the point??

Hmm, I think that domain looks good, who cares if it ends with .tk, its shorter looks decent and its different, when do you ever see .tk, co.uk is dull and long IMO, its even better that once you go onto the forum using the .tk address it overrides the address of the active board forum so that every thread is shown as DT125.TK, that's so good

I have also set this up at my old stationary website address. Its called Pen Island but you have to type as one word. Cheers x

never had a problem finding site and always have it bookmarked domain names are cheap

I buy lots of domain names for new up and comeing games that may become forums or domain names for unregisterd sites that look like they may one day do realy well .. so somewhere down the line the owners may pay big money for the domain name .

Well it looks to me that this .TK site is all down to Tunertom, somebody needs to P.M him, and get him to close that site down. What I don't understand is TunerTom set the site up on Feb 1st, but when tracing these bogus members back, it's Jan 6th, for the first one to join the forum (Steveufa)

I get you now Tom now you have said that you have no account. Its ok mate Ive had very little sleep lastnight so ive missed reading what you wrote I think the best solution to get rid of it is how I originally suggested by making a complaint then.

Ive looked at it nev and it looks like it is the .tk thats bringing the trouble. People who look bogus and joined before then must be genuine.

Nah they're definately not genuine Calum, you can tell by what's been written in the 'Biography bit' for example Steveufa writes 'why ya need to know; or Blogjkl writes 'squeal little piggie', ToveCold writes 'Boy, 11', just a couple to start with, no way are they genuine. Go into the Calendar section and tick the ' user sign up box' you'll see what I mean, all have dumb biography posts, plus the places they're apparently from gives it away. ffs Antarctica is one that springs to mind, along with many others,

i made the .tk link on a website that didnt require signing up.. kinda like when you upload photos to tinypic.com

i didnt need an account on the website that offered the link and it was kinda like doing a guest checkout online

it said it would expire after a year

im really sorry about this :/ i had no idea what it would bring, i was just trying to help the forum by giving it a nice short link to it

Has anyone thought about just making a simple complaint to the them with the web address that was created ?
send a detailed email with your complaint to abusemonkeytail.gifdot.tk. In most cases Dot TK responds to abuse complaints within one business day

This may do the trick to get them to take the web address down smile

Seiki, deffo need to get this sorted then, ive looked into it and, looks like emailing them could sort it, id explain that your the host seiki and you didnt agree to someone making this and it must of been made to spam the site and that you wish for the tk domain to be shutdown otherwise further action will be taken

In the frequently asked questions theres also a section that says :

20. What if I made a mistake when I typed my original URL submission?

You can always login to My Dot TK by using your e-mail address and password. Feel free to change the URL you have submitted. All changes will take effect within 10-15 minutes.

So if tunertom was to just change it to some bull address this may change it aswell

i just 'generated' the link on one of the tk websites and it worked

Just a thought, but why not buy a domain and some hosting, then clone all the content here over to a new forum.

It'll take some doing but I don't mind a challenge. I can also live with the tenner, etc to buy a domain and some hosting.

With new forum software mobile browsing, spam protection, picture uploading, chatbox, etc would be a lot easier. Plus it would save the £x a month for this forum.
