Does anyone know the code for this bearing? It's the last one I need and I don't have the tool to get it out. The code is unfortunatley on the other side of it and I cant find it on the parts websites. Once my engine parts are coated I am going to get a firm to install my bearings I provide when I get rebore ect and to get the blind ones out. The proper puller is £100 odds and I dont have that money at the moment.
It's preventing me ordering all my bearings cause I want to get them all at the same time from simply bearings.
I was thinking about a raw bolt but I was stumped on how i would get the momentum to pull it out if it was stuck if you know what I mean. Hopefully get it out this week and get one cheaper than £25 lol.
If it werre me I'd get some 6mm flat bar with a hole in the middle about 9-10 in long bar, and with a hand either end use it like a slide hammer up and down, with the emphasis on the 'up' bit, and after the casing has ben in the oven half an hour too. might be an idea to use a longer bolt in the rawlbolt too, 5/8" ish rawlbolt as aguess

If you're going to split the engine up and you want it as good as new might as well. Espeically if you've already there. Two second job aint it once you're there...
Just relised I got some replys lol. NORFE the clutch seal went probaly about five years ago and water and all the crap of the day got down there the clutch bearing and is full of the stuff. It is just a rusting brown liquid sitting at the bottom. This bearing has been next to this filth so it was only right to replace it since I am in there.
I have sourced the bearing for around £25 lol... But when I get the cases back from the coaters a mate will get it out with his slide hammer puller and hopefully I will get the code of it.
As a matter of interest how do you personally get the blind bearings out.

Try using a Rawlbolt to get the bearing out, not done it myself but seen a couple done that way.

all i do is put the casing in the oven for 20 30 mins get it scourchin red hot and then tap it on the outer side were the bearing is and they fall out
which bearing is it the one the main shaft sits in opposite side of the clutch...?? u can get blind bearing pullers like ive got
Cheers I will lOok at the tool when I get to my Laptop. Yeah the bearing the shaft goes through total buggered. Got a replacement on simply bearings for £2.50. I just got the blue gasket stuff you recommend today and just waiting on hearing back from pjme on getting my crank re built and re bore.
